Privacy Policy for Touch Dial
Last updated: March 10, 2026
Overview
Touch Dial (“the App”) is a desktop application for Windows developed by Alfredo Ramirez Pacheco, doing business as RamirezCR. Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains how the App and related services handle information.
Data Collection
Touch Dial does not collect or process personal data.
The App operates entirely offline and does not connect to the internet, except for the limited transmission of anonymous crash logs described below, checking for the latest version from the Microsoft Store, or checking for plugin notifications sent by the app developer to notify users of new releases or important plugin updates.
Crash Logs
Touch Dial may automatically generate and transmit anonymous crash logs containing only technical diagnostic information (such as error messages, exception types, stack traces, application version, and operating system version) for the sole purpose of improving app stability.
These crash logs do not contain personal information, user content, device identifiers, or any data that can identify a user.
Crash logs are transmitted through a secure channel solely for diagnostic and stability improvement purposes. A copy of these logs are kept under ~Documents\TouchDial\TouchDial.log.submitted for your records
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect:
- Personal information (such as name, email address, or physical address)
- Usage or analytics data
- Location data
- Device identifiers
Local Data
Any configuration, preferences, or settings created within the App are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to any server or third party.
Plugins and Extensions
Touch Dial may allow users to create, load, and use plugins or extensions (“Plugins”).
Plugins are separate works created by users or third parties and are not part of the App itself. Touch Dial does not review, monitor, or control third party plugins. The Touch Dial developer may distribute Plugins via posts on the forum.
Touch Dial does not collect data through Plugins. However, Plugins may process data locally depending on their functionality. Any data handling performed by a Plugin is the sole responsibility of the Plugin’s author.
Touch Dial developers require third parties to provide the source code via GitHub links when posting Plugins so that users can review the source code for their peace of mind.
Users are responsible for reviewing and trusting any Plugins they choose to install. Use of Plugins is at your own risk.
Plugins are executable code that may interact with your system depending on their design. Installing and running Plugins may involve security risks. Users should carefully review the source code and only install Plugins from authors they trust.
The Touch Dial developer does not guarantee the functionality, security, or safety of any third-party Plugin and is not responsible for any damage, data loss, or system issues resulting from the installation or use of Plugins.
Plugin Sharing Forum
Touch Dial provides a forum to allow users to share Plugins with the community.
While users are encouraged to share their creations, the App does not review, endorse, or assume responsibility for any content shared on the forum. Use of Plugins is at your own risk.
- Any content shared on the forum, including Plugins, is the responsibility of the user who posts it.
- Touch Dial does not control or endorse forum content.
- Content posted on the forum is user-generated and may include code, files, links, or instructions that have not been reviewed by the App developer. Such content may contain errors, vulnerabilities, or malicious code. Users are responsible for evaluating and using any shared content at their own discretion.
- Forum activity may involve registration, usernames, or other information required to post. Any personal information submitted during forum registration (such as usernames, email addresses, or profile information) is used solely for operating the forum platform and is governed by the forum’s own privacy policy and terms of use.
- The forum may contain links to third-party websites, including GitHub repositories or other external resources. These websites operate independently and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Touch Dial and RamirezCR are not responsible for the content, security, or data practices of external websites.
- The forum administrator reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove, edit, or restrict access to any content that violates community guidelines, applicable laws, or is considered harmful to users or the platform.
- Use of the forum is at your own risk, and the owner of Touch Dial is not liable for any content shared there.
Third-Party Services
Touch Dial does not use third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect data within the app.
Microsoft may collect anonymized information related to the Microsoft Store listing, downloads, updates, or crash reporting infrastructure. This data collection is governed by Microsoft’s own privacy policies and is outside the control of the App.
Children’s Privacy
Touch Dial does not knowingly collect any personal data from users, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
